3-year fixed-term contract

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the Council’s Mainland and International Affairs functions
  • Assist in routine liaison and correspondence with Mainland and international stakeholders
  • Support the planning and coordination of meetings, visits, conferences, forums, delegations and exchange activities, including logistics and documentation
  • Provide secretarial support to meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, record keeping and follow‑up
  • Assist in preparing briefing and communication materials, reports, statistics, and maintaining filing systems and databases
  • Perform any other clerical, administrative and support duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree with at least two years, or an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma with at least four years of solid working experience, preferably gained in statutory bodies or sizable organisations
  • Relevant clerical, administrative and event organisation experience is preferred
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail; Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently as required
  • Good communication skills in Cantonese and English; Proficiency in Putonghua is a must
  • Proficient in written Chinese and English for routine correspondence and reporting duties
  • Proficient in common office applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of Mainland and international affairs and public‑sector operations would be an advantage
  • Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work under deadlines

 

Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits

Appointment will be offered on a 3-year fixed-term contract.  Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical insurance and MPF.  Renewal of contract will be subject to the service needs of the Division and the performance of the appointee.
