Project Manager, Finance (Ref. PM-FIN)
Finance and Administration Division
1-year contract
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial insights and partnering with operations to support resource allocation, new projects and funding proposals
- Develop and enhance management reports, dashboards and KPIs on financial performance and use of subvention/project funds
- Act as finance lead for accounting, e‑PR and e‑Payroll system revamp projects, defining requirements and target processes, integration, testing, cut‑over and post‑implementation review
- Review and streamline financial policies, procurement procedures, FP&A and project‑monitoring processes, strengthening data quality and internal controls. Provide training to users
- Prepare analysis and presentations for senior management and committees
- Partnering with Accounting & Procurement Controls team on projects, budgeting, funding proposals, financial analysis and support process improvements
- Undertake any other duties or ad hoc projects as required by management
Requirements:
- A recognised university degree in Accounting or Finance or CPA or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years post-qualification experience, experience working in statutory or NGO sectors is advantageous
- Proven experience in FP&A, management reporting and project finance. Experience in procurement and payroll function or internal audit is advantageous
- Hands‑on experience with implementation accounting/ERP systems implementation (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Oracle Suite, Yonyou, etc); knowledge of HRMS/e‑Payroll and integration with ERP is advantageous
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and data/BI tools (e.g. Power Query/Power BI), and ability to turn data into clear visual
- Experience in formulating financial and procurement policies
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills, with a proactive, hands‑on and deadline‑driven work style
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
- Good leadership and analytical abilities
Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits
Appointment will be offered on a 1-year contract. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical insurance and MPF.
