Senior Executive, Research and Studies (Ref. SE-RSD)

2-year fixed-term contract
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and coordinate CHOICE production schedules, ensuring project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are effectively tracked and completed within agreed deadlines
- Assist in project and research support work, including the collection, consolidation, validation, and analysis of data from multiple sources, with outdoor duties when required
- Coordinate and collaborate with various content providers and other teams of the Council to facilitate the smooth production and publication of CHOICE content
- Support Research and Studies Managers in delivering high-quality services and ensuring project deadlines are met
- Utilise technology tools (e.g. spreadsheets, databases, or analytical software) to support operational, monitoring, and administrative tasks
- Identify and suggest practical process improvements and technology‑driven solutions to enhance team operations and productivity
- Perform other ad hoc duties and assignments as required
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Statistics, or Science related disciplines. Relevant experience in data handling, research support, technology enabled work or project management is an advantage
- A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience supporting business processes, documentation, reporting, or coordination work within supporting functions
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and deadlines
- Familiarity with data consolidation, basic data analysis, and presentation of findings in a clear and structured manner
- Tech-savvy, with an interest in technology tools, digital solutions, or innovative approaches to supporting research and administrative work
- Proficiency in writing English and Chinese
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits
Appointment will be offered on a 2-year fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical insurance and MPF. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service needs of the Division and the performance of the appointee.
