4-month contract

 

Due to project needs, we are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional with office administration service experience to join our Finance and Administration Division on a 4-month contract.  This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day accounting, clerical, procurement.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support full spectrum accounting and finance functions and perform clerical, data entry and filing duties
  • Assist in end-to-end procurement and tendering activities for the department including market research, data analysis, documentation, vendor management, and budget monitoring
  • Prepare project funding proposals, progress reporting papers, clerical and documentation.
  • Participate in audit assignments, stocktaking, reconciliation, and record management
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of finance guidelines and operation procedures
  • Liaise with internal users and external vendors
  • Undertake any other duties or ad hoc projects as required

 

Requirements:

  • A recognised university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management or related disciplines.  CPA or equivalent professional qualification is advantageous
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, experience working in statutory or NGO sectors is advantageous
  • Hands-on experience with accounting/EPR systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Oracle Suite, Yonyou, etc).  Strong command of Excel functions or data analytics tools (e.g. Power Query, Power BI). Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, team player, adaptive and able to work under pressure.  Strong problem-solving, communication and report-writing skills.
  • Immediate available is highly preferred

 

Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits

Appointment will be offered on a 4-month contract.  Fringe benefits include paid leave and MPF.
