Manager, Public Affairs (Graphic Design) (Ref. MPAGD-PMIAD)

2-year fixed-term contract
Responsibilities:
- Understand design requirements from project owners and manage end‑to‑end delivery of design projects, including publications, magazines, website, events and promotions, etc., from concept to completion within the constraints of cost and time
- Responsible for designing and producing layouts and artwork for print and digital materials, including webpage creatives and banner advertisements, and ensuring accuracy and quality through proofreading
- Handle procurement for design and production projects, coordinating internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and take lead to monitor trend on imagery display across print, online and social media
Requirements:
- A recognised degree in creative/graphic design/photography or related disciplines. Candidates with lower academic qualifications but demonstrate a solid design track record can also apply
- At least 5 years relevant experience in magazine/publication production, or graphic design in large corporations, with solid experience in photo editing and retouching, print output and web publication and colour management
- Hands-on experience in applying AI‑powered image generation and enhancement tools (e.g. for concept development, visual ideation and production support), with the ability to integrate AI‑generated outputs into professional design workflows
- Additional experience in event photography or product shooting with quality meeting magazine publication is bonus
- Ability to conceptualise creatives and execute the final designs, paying special attention to detail
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign; while knowledge in UI & UX design or illustration is bonus
- Strong organisational, communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work as a team to manage time, costs and deadlines
Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits
Appointment will be offered on a 2-year fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical insurance and MPF. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service needs of the Division and the performance of the appointee.
