Manager, Consumer Education (Ref. M-CE)
Consumer Education, Planning and Stakeholder Engagement Division
2-year fixed-term contract
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Manager in developing and leading high-impact training and learning programmes, community talks as well as citywide events targeting teenage students and/or senior citizens
- Assist in analysing youth and senior consumer behaviour to identify programme trends and target’s needs
- Leverage existing network and connections with Hong Kong secondary schools and/or elderly service organisations to curate innovative and relevant education programmes
- Engage programme stakeholders, collaborators, supporting organisations and volunteers to enrich content, expand outreach and maximise promotion
- Prepare programme/project proposals and draft committee papers
- Manage budgets, procurement, promotion and evaluation of programme and events
- Assist the Senior Manager in handling team administration duties
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
- Outdoor work may be required
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Education, Business Administration, Social Science or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of experience in youth and/or seniors’ training/programme development and project management
- Prior exposure in engaging government departments, public bodies or NGOs would be an advantage
- Prior experience in coordinating volunteer services and developing educational materials would be an advantage
- Sound knowledge in programme design, facilitation, delivery and project management
- Strong analytical, coordination, communication, and time management skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese attaining a minimum of Level 5 or above in Chinese or English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or equivalent in either subject
- Independent, proactive, creative, well-organised, meticulous, responsible and a good team player
- Experience in database management and/or website update would be an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications

Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits
Appointment will be offered on a 2-year fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical insurance and MPF. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service needs of the Division and the performance of the appointee.
