Senior Manager, Planning and Stakeholder Engagement (Ref. SM-PSE)
Consumer Education, Planning and Stakeholder Engagement Division
2-year fixed-term contract
Responsibilities:
- Assist in formulating comprehensive planning and stakeholder engagement strategies for aligning with the Council’s mission
- Assist in formulating, executing and reviewing the Three-year strategic initiatives to advance the Council’s mission and objectives
- Assist in drafting, implementing and annual monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) at Council and Division levels
- Monitor consumer trends and trade practices to inform the Council’s strategic direction
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government/public bodies, industry representatives, and community partners
- Identify and analyse stakeholders and secure funding opportunities to support Council projects and initiatives
- Prepare and deliver proposals, reports, presentations and committee papers
- Oversee the administration and coordination of divisional activities, including maintaining relevant databases
- Take up ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A recognised university degree or higher qualification in Business, Public Policy, Law, Social Science, or a related discipline
- At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in business planning, market analysis, stakeholder engagement or project management
- Proven ability to manage diverse consumer-related issues across multiple sectors
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce high-quality reports and recommendations
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder liaison
- Mission-driven, proactive, and able to perform under pressure
Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits
Appointment will be offered on a 2-year fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical insurance and MPF. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service needs of the Division and the performance of the appointee.
