Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in management, administration and organisation of education programmes, projects, events, and/or development of training resources, preferably gained from government departments, public bodies or NGOs
  • Be able to work independently with good organisation, collaboration, high order thinking and time management skills
  • Hold a recognised university degree or equivalent, preferrably in business administration, education, social science or related disciplines
  • Exhibit good command of English and Chinese attaining a minimum of Level 3 or above in Chinese or English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or equivalent*
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, good in problem-solving, passionate in consumer education, and a good team player
  • Sound knowledge of digital/social media outreach channels and publicity strategies would be an advantage

*Applicants must state their language results in public examinations in the application form and/or CV or the application would not be processed and considered.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To implement consumer education programme for secondary school students
  • To organise territory-wide education activities/events/initiatives
  • To develop training materials for consumer education programmes
  • To conduct talks and seminars pertaining to consumer issues for different target groups
  • To supervise supporting staff on programme implementation or any other work assignment
  • To perform any other duties as assigned by seniors

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview and successful candidates will be required to undergo Sexual Conviction Record Check.

 

Terms of Appointment & Fringe Benefits

Appointment will be offered on a 2-year fixed-term contract.  Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical insurance and MPF.
