Philips Electronics Hong Kong Ltd. announced a voluntary recall of the Philips Cucina HR 1565 mixers which were supplied between January and July 2005. These mixers, which were marked with the series code 04420 to 05170, may be accidentally activated by pressing the turbo button when the main switch of the mixer is at "0" position (i.e. at "Off" position). This may pose a hazard to the user when inserting or removing the beaters or the kneading hooks. Members of the public are advised to stop using these mixers immediately and to contact the above supplier to arrange for replacement or refund.
