EMSD urges checking of three models of gas cooking appliances (with photos)
The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) today (March 14) urged the public to contact respective importers for free checking of the following three models and batches of gas cooking appliances:

The above appliances failed in a combustion performance test due to improper setting of the air-fuel ratio. However, this does not affect their safe operation.
The importers posted notices announcing the free checking arrangement in newspapers today. They are also contacting their customers to arrange adjustment of the air-fuel ratio setting of the appliances.
The EMSD reminds the public to ensure adequate ventilation when using gas cooking appliances.
