U-Right (HK) Ltd. announced a voluntary recall of a model of electrothermal bags which were supplied at U-Right shops from December 2004 to February 2005. These electrothermal bags may have defective internal components leading to overheating and rupture of the bag during heating. Liquid leaking from the bag, which is in contact with the electrodes at mains voltage, may cause electric shock to user. Members of the public are advised to stop using these electrothermal bags immediately and to return them to the above supplier for refund.
