Nutrition Information
The local Nutrition Labelling Scheme had
come into force on 1 July 2010, which requires that prepackaged
foods sold in local should bear nutrition labels (except those with
exemption).
The Nutrition Labelling Scheme aims to
assist consumers in making informed food choices, to encourage food
manufacturers to apply sound nutrition principles in the
formulation of foods and to regulate misleading or deceptive labels
and claims.
