Ranging in retail price from some $800 to $6,000, they all have colour LCD display, and 39 samples have built-in digital camera function. Most can also take short video, with picture resolution ranging from under 100k to over 1 mega pixels. Almost all can support MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) function, allowing users to send messages containing sound or image. Five are 3G phones with video call and video streaming features. The models were compared for performance in ergonomics, battery, portability, durability, sound quality, sensitivity, convenience, SMS and picture functions such as camera, display quality and data transfer.
